If you are curious about the interesting process of Landscape or Art type of quilting this class will provide a look at the some of the techniques for making a lovely art piece. There are some projects that are accomplished with only a sewing machine and decorative stitches and some thread painting or with the addition of machine embroidery to create a lush scene; also, there will be free motion quilting. We will have options to look at multiple techniques. We will have (2) 2-1/2hr classes a month to complete a project with occasional homework. We will have a new project most months depending on the complexity. Some projects will need a purchased design project book. There will occasionally be a project that I can supply the pattern sheets for. We will also discuss project options of wall hangings, totes, pillows or mounting on canvas.
