
Gentle Chair Yoga – West

Do you often feel tense? Has it become difficult to bend down and tie your shoes due to stiff joints? Are you often worried about falling? Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. Benefits include but are not limited to improved flexibility & balance, better concentration, increased strength, better breathing habits, & reduced stress and joint strain. I’ve learned the term “yoga” can be intimidating, think of this class as simply moving your body with your breath. I hope these classes will allow you to find more space in your sewing chair and bring you practice home!
