FPP 101 (Fundamentals of Foundation Paper Piecing)
If you are looking for perfectly precise points in your piecing without a ton of fuss, then foundation paper piecing is a “must have” technique you want to add to your skill base and quilting portfolio. Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) is a technique used to achieve accurate and uniform seams, and efficiency while working with everything from small projects with odd angles to large quilts with a variety of blocks. FPP is not only for quilters but is also for those looking to add unique design elements to their bags, garments, and handmade gifts. This is a technique course to learn the basics of FPP so you will complete one (or a few blocks) in class as time/pace of participants permits. Class participants will learn the fundamentals of foundation paper piecing in this class designed for beginners. **Participants will need access to a printer to print/prepare their pattern pieces for the block.
